Archè,  Philosophical Research Centre for Logic, Language, Metaphysics, & Epistemology, University of St Andrews, UK  Activities at Arché are currently centred on these projects. Centre for Philosophy of Natural & Social Science, LSE, UK  The Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science (CPNSS), established in 1990, aims to promote research into philosophical, methodological and foundational questions arising in the natural and the social sciences, as well as their application to practical problems. The Centre seeks to achieve this aim by supporting interdisciplinary and inter-institutional endeavours of different kinds and maintaining international collaborations and partnerships. It is home to a number of research projects bringing together academics from different backgrounds, and it hosts researchers pursuing individual research initiatives. A Visitors’ Programme gives philosophers of science from all over the world the opportunity to reside in the Centre for a term or an academic year, to participate in existing projects and to pursue their own research. 

Aporo. The Irish Philosophical Research Network, Dublin, Ireland    Aporo is a research group dedicated to the core problems within the areas of epistemology, metaphysics and the philosophies of language, logic and mind. It is based in Dublin, through a co-operation between the philosophy departments at Queens University Belfast (QUB), Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and University College Dublin (UCD). Its aim is to foster collaborative philosophical projects within its stated interests, and to provide an environment for philosophical research, among staff members as well as younger (postgraduate and postdoctoral) researchers.

Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy, Kingston University, London, UK    The Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy (CRMEP) is the leading centre for postgraduate level study and doctoral research in Continental Philosophy in the UK. Since its inception in 1994 it has developed a national and international reputation for teaching, research and publication in the field of post-Kantian European philosophy, characterised by a strong emphasis on broad cultural and intellectual contexts and a distinctive sense of social and political engagement. The CRMEP moved to Kingston University from Middlesex University in the summer of 2010. It is located across the faculties of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and Art, Design and Architecture (FADA).

Kokoro Research Center, Kyoto University, Japan    The Kokoro Research Center promotes scientific research on mind and consciousness, from the disciplines of psychology, neurophysiology, cognitive sciences, cultural and humanistic studies. Based on the results of this scholarly research, it aspires to contribute to a humanity and mentality suited to life in the coming global era.

Centre of Consciousness, Australian National University, Canberra, Australia    The Centre for Consciousness focuses on the philosophy and the science of consciousness. A broad approach is taken to these issues, bringing in relevant work from numerous neighbouring areas of philosophy and of cognitive science.The Centre, which was founded in 2004, is located within the internationally-renowned School of Philosophy in the ANU Research School of Social Sciences. The Centre is directed by Professor David Chalmers and includes faculty members of the School of Philosophy, post-doctoral fellows and postgraduate students. The Centre also regularly sponsors visitors from elsewhere in Australia and overseas.

Institute of Philosophy of Mind & Cognition, National Yang Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan    The Institute of Philosophy of Mind and Cognition at National Yang Ming University is dedicated to research and teaching in contemporary Western analytical philosophy, with an emphasis on Philosophy of Mind. Research is performed with a unique orientation towards high quality, making the institute a premier location in the field within Eastern Asia. So far, in a single year of existence, several publications in international journals of high reputation have been achieved. International academic exchange is given importance by inviting prominent philosophical scholars from abroad, attending international conferences and making cooperation agreements with renowned universities worldwide.
