It is my conviction that there are as many psychotherapy approaches as the therapists that practicing them. When research shows that the most crucial factor in psychotherapy outcome is the therapeutic relationship, the origin of my stance becomes obvious. Every individual in therapy and every therapist is a unique human being, so is every relationship. Having said that, it is a fact that every therapist has been trained in one or more psychotherapy models or “schools” and has evolved his/her approach in order to efficiently help people who come to therapy confronting issues/problems in relationships, with stress, depression etc.
